In the composite-project LIFE Insu-Shell a sandwich façade system with thin-walled,

self-supporting elements of textile reinforced concrete and a highly insulating insulation core was developed by

an interdisciplinary consortium and first applied industrially in a building.

The project was co-funded by the LIFE06-program by the European Commission.
